“Dear Cycling Friends,   This weekend we will be hosting the 2010 SCNCA Road Race Championships. There will be about 400 racers on Saturday and maybe a few more on Sunday. They will be competing on Round Mountain Road, as showcased in the 2010 Amgen Tour of California, for 1, 2 or 3 laps depending on the category they hold. This will be the most exciting and competitive Golden Empire Classic to date. The start/finish will be on North Chester Extension just North of the Bakersfield Speedway.

We are in need of Course Marshals and other volunteers on both days. Please contact me if you are able to help us on one or both days and if you know of someone that would be interested in helping please ask them to contact me also.
